06 Apr ManOrga | Rayonor transfer
ManOrga|Rayonor, is a fine medium-sized industrial family business of the Lille region.
ManOrga|Rayonor specialises in the storage space fittings for all types of activities (industry and services). This medium-sized industrial company, founded in 1971 by the Flipo family, employs 250 people and recorded a turnover of over €60 million in 2019. It has two industrial sites in the Lille region, producing 12 kilometres of racking and processing 80 tonnes of steel daily. The company exclusively sells its products to distributors, of which Rayonor, a sister company with 6 agencies in France. Lastly, it achieves a significant portion of its turnover in Europe, and more specifically in Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia and Switzerland.
After three decades of the company being managed by the three Flipo brothers, the reins of management have gradually been handed over to a new team, now well established and able to continue the family’s adventure.
A carefully thought out transfer
Following on from this first managerial transfer, the three brothers decided in 2019 to complete the group’s capital transfer. After studying several types of solutions and carefully reflecting on which values the Flipo family wished to carry into the future, Orfite was chosen. They knew Orfite would be a guarantor of the ManOrga|Rayonor development model and be respectful of the management’s values and independence. This is how, after half a century of shares being held in the family, Orfite has become the Group’s reference shareholder alongside the managers, who took this opportunity to significantly increase their stake, and alongside the Flipo brothers who remain key shareholders.
“Orfite has become a major ally, supporting us in our development. Thanks to this partnership, ManOrga is consolidating now its continued progress over the decade to come,” commented Philippe Sadowski, ManOrga Chair.
